Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrsiers Hyderabad by seven wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. By the virtue of this win, their campaign has been boosted as they jumped to the sixth position in the points table to keep their playoff hopes alive. This was their second consecutive victory after they had beaten two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders in a thriller at the Eden Gardens on Thursday. At the same time, they also avenged their reverse fixture loss against the 'Orange Army'.

However, more than anything else, the most important feature of RR's victory was that the inaugural edition winners were playing their last home game of this season. After the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad went in their favour, the Rajasthan Royals players decided to thank the partisans who had come out and supported them in large numbers during their good and bad phases right through this season.

New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi held the Rajasthan Royals flag in one hand and danced in joy as the home fans joined him to celebrate with loud cheers. Rajasthan Royals posted this video on Twitter. Watch it here.
