MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continued their winning run in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 on Sunday as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 5 wickets at the Eden Gardens. After a comfortable victory, Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni indulged in some bromance. CSK skipper and all-rounder Kedar Jadhav were seen having food from the same plate.

In a video shared by Jadhav on his Instagram account, he can be seen feeding Dhoni with his spoon as the skipper enjoyed coffee. "Bromance," Jadhav captioned the video.

Earlier, it was yet another dominating display from CSK as the defending champions floored KKR in their own backyard. Despite Chris Lynn's stellar 82 off 51 balls, KKR could only manage to post 161/8 on the board after a superb bowling effort from CSK. Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers as the ace spinner picked up a four-wicket haul to jolt KKR's top order.

Tahir picked up the prized scalps of Lynn, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell as he ran through the KKR batting line-up producing his best-ever spell in the IPL. Shardul Thakur played a brilliant supporting role and picked up a couple of wickets. He finished with figures of 2/18 in his 4 overs.

Suresh Raina slammed an unbeaten 58 and Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 31 to take the Chennai outfit over the line with two balls to spare. The duo posted a match-winning 41-run stand for the 6th wicket and ensured CSK consolidated their top spot on the table with two crucial points.

Faf du Plessis (24) and Jadhav (20) also played their part in the chase. With the win, CSK almost booked their spot in the playoffs as the Dhoni-led side have now gone 4 games unbeaten and have faced just one defeat in eight games to sit at the top with 14 points.
