Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen seems to be enjoying his present stint in India. The 38-year-old, who is in the country to cover the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 season as a commentator, has been doing loads of other things apart from giving his views with the mike.

The once Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) - now Delhi Capitals (DC) - player, ahead of RCB's fixture against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, decided to try his hand in gully cricket.

In the streets of Bengaluru, Pietersen played the sport with a few kids, and shared a few mesmerizing photos and videos as he interacted and spent some time with youngsters.

He also shared two Instagram Live stories on his official handle of him playing, and praising the manner in which the kids were playing the sport on the streets.

"He is a very skillful bowler. What is your name?" the Englishman could be heard saying to a kid who replies his name is Abhi. Following that, Pietersen says, "Abhi, brilliant."

Just before he played gully cricket with the kids, Pietersen had put up a story on Instagram, revealing his intent to his followers.

"Driving in the car here and there are some kids playing gully cricket here, I'm gonna go and play with them," the England legend said.
