Mumbai Indians will be locking horns against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2019 final at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday. Both teams will be aiming to win their record fourth IPL title and stake their claim as the first team in the tournament's history to have on more than three titles. At the same time, Mumbai hold a 2-1 advantage over CSK in IPL final meetings.

Before their face off on Sunday, two of the best death bowling specialists of Mumbai Indians Jasprit Bumrah and veteran Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga came forward to have a chat.

Malinga who had led Sri Lanka to their maiden World T20 triumph in 2014 hailed Jasprit Bumrah by saying that the youngster was the Number 1 bowler in Mumbai Indians as well as World Cricket.

Bumrah who has been seen taking bowling tips from Malinga also had a few words for his mentor.

"Last year he was a mentor. He was always behind me, telling me to do this and not to give away so many runs. All the time he was constantly behind my back saying this is wrong, this is right."

The 25-year-old also added that since Malinga was back as a player in the ongoing season, he did not have any hesitation in pulling the Sri Lankan quickie's leg by reminding him that he had started to play again. Meanwhile, he also made a little fun of the senior bowler.

''So the same things which he had told me last year, I am going to say all of those things this year. That you were behind me, now you have to do all these things this year."

The video of this conversation was posted on Twitter by Mumbai Indians. Take a look.

Mumbai Indians will be upbeat heading into Sunday's title clash against CSK as they have registered a hat-trick of wins against MS Dhoni's team in this season. These wins have come twice in the league stages and once in the knockouts.
