Delhi Capitals will be looking to make it to their maiden IPL final when they lock horns against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Friday. There were a lot of standout moments in this game. Most of them included CSK skipper MS Dhoni. It all started when the local crowd at Vizag gave him a vociferous reception when the coin landed in his favour and he won the toss. He then went on to get a DRS right which dismissed young Prithvi Shaw before making an impact behind the stumps to send a well-set Shikhar Dhawan back to the dugout. While Mahi had an outstanding day, his counterpart Rishabh Pant was not so lucky like his role model.

The incident happened in the 15th over which was bowled by Dwayne Bravo. On the second ball, Bravo bowled a full-length delivery as Sherfane Rutherford attempted to hit a big shot. He timed the ball well and hit a rash shot with great force. Unfortunately, his shot struck Rishabh Pant's foot at the non-striker's end. The youngster seemed to be in some pain as he limped towards the striker's end. The 21-year-old wicket-keeper batsman looked uncomfortable initially but then got back and continued batting.

CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first. The CSK bowlers bowled well in tandem as they picked up wickets at regular intervals. When the wickets were falling from one end, Colin Munro tried to accelerate Delhi's run rate with a good knock of a 24-ball 27. Rishabh Pant then anchored Delhi's innings with a stellar cameo of a 25-ball 38 which included two boundaries and a maximum at a strike rate of 152. In the end, Ishant Sharma's boundary and a six off Ravindra Jadeja's final over took the Capitals to a respectable total of 147/9 in their 20 overs.
