Cricket fans were glued to their seats as Saturday's IPL fixture between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders went down to the wire at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. However, arguably the best moment of the match happened when Rishabh Pant took an outstanding catch behind the stumps to send hard-hitting Australian batsman Chris Lynn back to the dugout. The incident happened in the seventh over of KKR's innings when Lynn tried to play a pull shot off Kagiso Rabada. Lynn played the short hard but the connection was not well executed. Just when it looked like the ball would travel over Pant's head, the young Delhi keeper judged the ball well and took a stunning left-handed catch as the Delhi boys celebrated.

Delhi had KKR on the mat at 61/5 but Andre Russell (62) and skipper Dinesh Karthik (50) stitched in a 95 run stand as KKR got to a competitive score of 185/8 in their 50 overs. Russell was once again outstanding with the bat as he scored his first half-century of the season with an explosive knock of a 28-ball 62 at a strike rate of 221.43 which included four boundaries and six maximums. In the process, he also completed 1,000 runs in IPL and also took over the 'Orange Cap' from David Warner with 248 runs in three games.

In reply youngster Prithvi Shaw led the foundation with a splendid 55-ball 99 which included 12 fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 180.00. He was duly supported by captain Shreyas Iyer who played a vital knock of a 32-ball 43. Kuldeep Yadav bowled a brilliant penultimate over as the match was tied and a Super Over was to be played to decide the winner.

Delhi Capitals batsmen could manage only 10 runs in the Super Over. However, it proved to be enough as South African speedster Kagiso Rabada kept the KKR batsmen at bay with his outstanding bowling as KKR fell short by three runs. The biggest highlight of Rabada's spell was yorking the dangerous Andre Russell.
