Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has succeeded in winning people's hearts in his 24-year cricketing career. Now, the former world-class batsman has come forward to urge the citizens of Mumbai to vote for a better future in the ongoing 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
Sachin, who was a former member of Rajya Sabha, said that the 'Right to Vote is our gift of democracy', asking people to 'go out and vote'.
Ahead of the election in Mumbai in the fourth phase of 2019 polls, the Little Master took to Twitter and posted a video message for his fans. Furthermore, he said this election, his kids Arjun and Sara will also join his wife Anjali for the voting.
''We all should go out and vote. On 29th, it won't be just me and Anjali (his wife). This time we are gonna have Sara and Arjun (his children) as well. Guys. Let's go out and vote", said Tendulkar in the video he posted on his official Twitter handle.
Even the netizens agreed with the 'Little Master' and came forward to support his initiative.
Lok Sabha elections to 48 seats in Maharashtra are being held in four phases. Polling for the first three phases were held on April 11 (seven seats), April 18 (10 seats) and April 23 (14 seats).
The remaining 17 constituencies, including those in Mumbai, will go to polls in the fourth phase on April 29. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
