The auspicious occasion of Diwali is known for its bright lights and delicious sweets. Across India, everyone awaits and celebrates this festival with utmost delight, seeing this as an opportunity to fill their lives with complete positivity.
On Wednesday, when the country celebrated the festival, even the people from outside India were given an opportunity to be a part of the occasion. Former South African great Jonty Rhodes and Australian great Brett Lee celebrated Diwali alongside 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar shared a video on his official Twitter handle, wherein gave a feel of the festival to the other two cricketing legends by treating them with some yummy sweets. Along with a video video filled with laughter, the 'Master Blaster' wrote a message, which read,
"Diwali is all about happiness and having sweets. @brettlee_58, @jontyrhodes8 and I enjoyed a few laughs and some mithai too. Have a safe Diwali filled with laughter, everyone. आप सभी को दिवाली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ।#HappyDiwali"
The Master Blaster isn't the only cricketer from India who showcased their happiness of celebrating the festival. On Twitter, a number of his former teammates also posted photos, wishing the country 'Happy Diwali'.
