Shikhar Dhawan, India's trusted opening batsman made fans breathe a sigh of relief when he made himself available for India's tour of West Indies. The opener was selected in the squad going to the Caribbean and is all set to make a much-awaited comeback in the series starting August 3. To Dhawan's and the Men in Blue's misfortune, he was ruled out of the recently-concluded World Cup after suffering a blow on his thumb off a short ball from Pat Cummins.

Nicknamed 'Gabbar', Dhawan recently took to Instagram to post a video of him looking fit and agile. The opener is seen taking sharp catches as he prepares to be the clinical fielder he is. He captioned the video as "working on my reflexes."

Keeping up with the trend, Dhawan earlier, picked up the bat again, and the first thing he did was not face the young bowlers at the nets but perform the ‘Bottle Cap Challenge.’ The 33-year-old performed the modified version of the challenge by Yuvraj Singh like a boss and his delight was there for everyone to see.

Shikhar, dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, posted the video from the National Cricket Academy nets in Bengaluru. The swashbuckling batsman’s drive was directed towards mid-off as he hit the tennis ball right to the top of the bottle to knock it off.
