With just one day to go to 2019, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is coming up with a series of posts on Twitter, wherein they are showing the best moments from the year 2018.
It began with the racing contest between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, and then it was about the signing performance of Suresh Raina. Now, in their third post of 'Best of 2018', the BCCI paid tribute to youngster Shubman Gill for one of his best-ever shots. The 19-year-old played a short-arm jab, shot, reproducing the exact version of the one invented by Kohli. And by the looks of it, there was no difference.
The first post in BCCI's 'Best of 2018' was of the racing contest between Jadeja and Kohli. In the West Indies' innings of the fourth ODI in October this year, Kohli and Jadeja ran after the ball to save it from touching the ropes. The two players were so focussed that it ended up being a running contest between them. In the end, it was Jadeja who outpaced Kohli and won the race.
Following that, the second post on Twitter in the 'Best of 2018' was the singing performance of Suresh Raina when the Indian team toured Sri Lanka earlier this year for the Nidahas Trophy.
