The ongoing game between three-time winners Mumbai Indians and defending champions Chennai Super Kings is keeping the viewers on their feet at regular intervals. First it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni who sent his opposite number Rohit Sharma back with a catch that was more of a magnetic effect behind the stumps. It was followed by Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard's fireworks in the final over where they clobbered Dwayne Bravo to all parts of the Wankhede Stadium.
However, the real moment was witnessed during CSK's run chase thanks to an electrifying catch by Kieron Pollard. The incident happened in the final ball of the fifth over bowled by Jason Behrendoff. The Australian pacer was hit for two straight boundaries by Suresh Raina but during his final ball of that over even he did not expect about the manner in which he would be getting his first IPL wicket. He bowled a simple ball outside off stump which Raina tried to deposit over stands . He had made good connection but that was made ordinary by Kieron Pollard who took an outstanding catch at sweeper cover with one hand. The astonishing thing about this catch was that the West Indian all-rounder was standing way ahead of the boundary rope. A dejected Raina had to depart after a blistering 15-ball 16 which included two boundaries and a maximum. This video was posted on Twitter.
Even Twitterati admired Pollard for his athleticism.
