There's hardly any doubt that Virat Kohli is presently the best batsman in the international arena. No other batter, be it from the once-mighty Australia, has capability anywhere close the Indian skipper. And it isn't an overstatement; his records speak for himself. An average of over 50 in all the formats, which also includes number of records, speaks volume of the talent he possesses.

But recently, during a Q&A session with fans on Twitter for his official Virat Kohli Official App, when a random individual questioned Kohli's batting ability and mentioned preferring to watch other countries batsman, the Indian skipper got a bit angry.

The individual's question to Kohli read, "Over-rated batsman and personally I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians."

The Indian skipper, in his own style, replied by stating that any individual who doesn't like his own country's team should leave the country and reside somewhere else.

"Okay, I don’t think you should live in India, then you should go and live somewhere else no. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? But I don’t mind you not liking me, but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right," he said.

His comments did not go down well with the Twitterati, who lamented and attacked him for telling someone to leave the country just because he/she doesn't like Indian batsmen.

In the recently concluded ODI series against West Indies, Kohli created a number of records, further enhancing his reputation as the best batsman in the world. His astonishing batting display earned him another man of the series award, a seventh overall in ODIs.

It meant that Kohli has now equaled the number of man of the series awards won by former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly and all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, as well as Viv Richards, Ricky Ponting and Hashim Amla. The only players who now stand ahead of him and yet another record are Sachin Tendulkar (15), Sanath Jayasuriya (11) and Shaun Pollock (9).

Earlier in the series, Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score three centuries on the trot in ODIs. He became the eighth batsman in the history of ODI cricket to accomplish this feat, following the likes of Zaheer Abbas, Quinton de Kock, Saeed Anwar, Ross Taylor, Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers and Kumar Sangakkara- the latter leading the way with four centuries in a row.
