There is barely an award related to cricket which Indian skipper Virat Kohli has not won. His unreal batting ability, coupled with brilliant captaincy skills has seen him dominate the sport since the past few years.
But now it seems, Kohli is taking his extraordinary ability outside the cricket field, and trying it in movies. The swashbuckling batsman has entered the film industry, and has already won an Oscar for his performance. Though, all of it is fake!
In the video on his official Twitter account, holding a fake Oscar trophy, the 29-year-old could be heard thanking the people for watching him win the fake Oscar for his fake performance in a fake film.
"This is unbelievable, best award for best non-acting by a main lead for trailer the movie. I would like to thank wrogn production for never making the movie and to my audience for not watching the movie, this was a fake movie so a fake award," he spoke while promoting his brand WROGN.
This isn't the first time that Kohli has shared something interesting on his social media handle. A couple of days back, the Indian skipper had posted a picture of his transformation from a chubby young boy to a fit man. The number-one ranked batsman shared a picture on his Instagram account, revealing the secret to having a successful career. The caption read: "With focus and hard work, anything is possible. Keep working, keep believing. Have a super day everyone."
The ICC No.1 batsman continued on his sensational form with the bat in the recent Test series against West Indies, which India whitewashed 2-0. Kohli and co. left no stones unturned against a mediocre Windies side, dominating their opponents and winning their 10th consecutive Test series at home.
