Indian skipper Virat Kohli might be on the most fittest players in the current squad. But his fitness credentials were called into question when Ravindra Jadeja gave him a run for his money (quite literally) during the fourth ODI against West Indies played at the Brabourne Stadium.

The incident occurred in the first over of the game of Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling. Chandrapaul Hemraj couldn't manage to find the middle of the willow, but somehow managed to punch the ball through the offside.

The ball raced through and looked very likely to reach the boundary ropes, but Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja had other plans. Considered two of the best fielders in the Indian side, the duo decided to engage in a race and chase down the ball.

For the major portion of the race, the Indian skipper was in the lead. But at the end moment, Ravindra Jadeja increased his strides and edged Kohli to get the ball. Looking at Jaddu overtaking him, Kohli almost telepathically slowed down and waited in anticipation to collect the ball from him. The Indian skipper later did a brilliant job of hurling the throw directly at MS Dhoni present behind the stumps. Here's the video of the incident:

As far as the match was concerned, India put on an all-around show against West Indies to register a comprehensive victory against the West Indies. Kuldeep Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed were the pick of the bowlers picking three wickets each.

During the course of the innings, the left-arm pacer had been found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct. It is understood that Khaleel Ahmed aggressively gestured towards Marlon Samuels after taking his wicket. He has been given an official warning and one demerit point for his provocative actions.

In the batting department, Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma hammered a massive 162 runs and in the process slammed his 21st ODI ton. Ambati Rayudu was the other Indian top-scorer notching a century to his name.

India currently lead the series 2-1 and are set to face West Indies in the fifth and final ODI which will be played on November 1 at Thiruvananthapuram
