WATCH: Wicket-keeper Ambati Rayudu fails to detect Ewin Lewis' edge and Harbhajan Singh's reaction can't be missed

There was a dramatic moment on the field during the clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday. It is moments like these that end up being the turning point of the game on a few occasions.

The incident happened in the sixth over of Mumbai's innings which was bowled by Harbhajan Singh and Evin Lewis was on strike. In the final ball of that over, Bhajji bowled a good delivery as Lewis missed the ball completely, and it went straight into the gloves of Ambati Rayudu who was keeping wickets instead of MS Dhoni.  Harbhajan put his hands on his head assuming that the ball had just missed getting the edge. However, replays clearly showed that the West Indian batsman had nicked the ball. Bhajji was then jokingly seen blaming Rayudu. The latter said that he was never aware of it and pointed towards Shane Watson who was positioned at the first slip when the incident had taken place. The veteran off-spinner then went on to ask umpire Nigel Llong who was seen smiling.

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will look to consolidate the top spot by getting the better of Mumbai Indians who will be looking to do the double over CSK. Chennai will be banking on home advantage to avenge their reverse fixture loss against Mumbai Indians. At the same time, a win in this game will take MI to the second position in the points table. 

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and invited Mumbai to bat first. Suresh Raina was once again the stand-in captain as MS Dhoni was unwell. Mumbai lost the wicket of Quinton de Kock early, but skipper Rohit Sharma and Evin Lewis added 75 runs for the second-wicket stand. The 'Hitman' looked in good touch and registered his 35th IPL half-century. He played a captain's knock of a 48-ball 67 at a strike rate of 139.58 including six boundaries and three sixes. His entertaining knock helped Mumbai get to a competitive total of 155/4 in their 20 overs.
