The 21-year who was heading to practice at the Chepauk ground suddenly kept his cricket kit down and went straight to his fans who were shouting at the top of their voice to get a glimpse of their young hero. He obliged them by signing autographs and taking selfies. However, despite giving a lot of autographs and taking so many selfies, repeated requests were coming in from the fans and Pant gladly acknowledged them. When he was finally heading back to the ground, he got more requests from his fans. Pant did not hesitate as he went back to them and fulfilled their wishes post which he went back to the ground to continue his practice.
