'What a start!': Sushmita Sen cheers for Indian Cricket team after its spectacular win, other celebrities join in

Team India began their World Cup campaign on Wednesday as they took on South Africa at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. Following the same, several celebrities across domains have taken to social media to congratulate India on its spectacular win. Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen was one of those who congratulated the winning team. 

In a recent Twitter post, she wrote, "INDIA it is!!!! what a start!!!! Congratulations!!! South Africa, you guys got spirit!!! #WC2019 #IndVsSA #Victory #INDIA"

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also taken to Twitter to extend best wishes to the 'Men in Blue' as they begin their World Cup journey. In a Twitter post, he wrote, "As #TeamIndia begins it’s #CWC19 journey today, best wishes to the entire Team. May this tournament witness good cricket and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. खेल भी जीतो और दिल भी ! #INDvSA"
