At the same time, BCCI also posted some videos of the Indian team's first training session for the World Cup.

The Virat Kohli-led Team India are one of the favourites to win the World Cup. They had made it to the finals of the Champions Trophy which was held in England & Wales in 2017. India have won the World Cup twice in 1983 and 2011. The 'Men In Blue' had finished as the runners up in the 2003 edition under Sourav Ganguly's leadership. They were completely outplayed by Ricky Ponting's Australia in the summit clash. Team India will look to re-write history by lifting the coveted trophy at Lord's by emulating Kapil Dev and his class of 1983.

India will be playing two warm-up games. They will be locking horns against New Zealand on May 25 and against Bangladesh on May 28.

India will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5.
