Team India are having a splendid run in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. India along with New Zealand are the undefeated side in the tournament. The Virat Kohli-led side have won four of their five matches. One of their contests against the Kiwis was washed away due to rain. Taking that game out of the equation, India have been a dominant side after registering convincing wins over South Africa, five-time reigning World Champions Australia and arch-rivals Pakistan respectively. They were then given a little scare by Afghanistan, but in the end, pacer Mohammed Shami's hat-trick helped the two-time champions register a 11-run win in an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
The Men In Blue will now be facing West Indies at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Thursday. The Caribbeans are at the eighth position with just a solitary win in their six matches. Nonetheless, it seems that there is hardly any focus on this match as the talks are about the Indian Team donning the Orange jersey for their next league match against the hosts and title favourites England at Edgbaston on Sunday.
However, India's bowling coach Bharat Arun said that they had no clue about the same and that they are focusing on the game against West Indies.
"To be very honest we are not aware of what we will wear, we haven’t given any thought to it and our focus is only on the match tomorrow. We are focusing on the game and not aware of colour we are getting. We bleed blue and that is predominantly going to be the colour", said Arun in a media interaction.
As per news agency ANI, ICC has said that colour options were given to BCCI and they chose what they felt went best with the colour combination. The whole idea is to be different as England also wears the same shade of blue as India. The design is taken from India’s old T20 jersey which had orange in it.

In a massive controversy over Orange jersey, senior Congress MLA Nasim Khan has attacked Modi government, saying that "saffron politics started since Modi government has come to power".
"Whether it is sports or culture, Saffron politics has been started in this country since the Modi government has come to power. The Tricolor should be respected. This current government is trying to saffronise everything which is highly problematic," said the Congress MLA.
Adding to the controversy, SP leader Abu Azmi term it "injustice" that Orange colour is being alotted to Men In Blue for the World Cup match against England, demanding the people to oppose it.
"Today the orange colour that is being given to the team, Modi ji the one who gave the colours for the flag as a Muslim. If you want to give a colour to Team India, then give a colour of the country's flag, then I will be okay. But if you will give the colour Orange to everything then it is totally injustice and it is totally wrong. People should oppose it," the SP leader speaking to media.
