Fans in India and Pakistan won’t have any confusion on where their loyalties lie in their much-hyped World Cup match on Sunday, but for others, they can watch the game either as a neutral or choose one of the sides to cheer for. Chris Gayle was also in such a dilemma over which team he wanted to support. The West Indian cricket superstar couldn’t make up his mind, but had an interesting way to convey his support for both the teams by sporting an ‘India-Pakistan’ suit.

Ahead of the marquee clash, the Caribbean opening batsmen posted a snap where he is dressed in a grey suit with India’s saffron and green colours on his right and only the green on his left.

He captioned the photograph, “Yup! I’m rocking my india 🇮🇳 Pakistan 🇵🇰 Suit, all love and respect!😉 ✌🏿... I really love it and this will be one of my outfit at my birthday party September 20th 😁...its lit 🔥 👌🏿🕺🏾🥂 #FashionOverStyle#UniverseBoss #KingGayle #45 #333

Gayle’s massive fan following in India, courtesy some of his thunderous knocks in the IPL, is well-known. However, the West Indian would surely be loved in the neighbouring country too since he has played in the Pakistan Super League as well.

While fans around the world, like Gayle, will make their own plans on how to watch the game, the foremost thing on their mind is if the full 100 overs will be played, there will be a truncated game or it’s a complete washout. The forecast doesn't sound the most positive, as chances of rain and thunderstorms after 12 pm local time are very much on the cards.
