The Virat Kohli-led Indian team will be aiming to win their third World Cup in England & Wales in the upcoming edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Before the 'Men In Blue' begin their campaign, they played a couple of warm-up games. They were outplayed by New Zealand in the first warm-up match by six wickets while they came back strongly to beat Bangladesh by 95 runs in the second game. Ravindra Jadeja scored a fantastic half-century against New Zealand in the first match which took India to a respectable total of 179 after they were reduced to 91/7. Against Bangladesh, Jaddu impressed with the ball with figures of 1/40 in his 9.3 overs at an economy rate of 4.21.
Jadeja's better half Rivaba came forward and gave her best wishes to her husband as well as Team India for the upcoming World Cup.
"I am very happy that Ravindra is a part of ICC's topmost tournament which is the World Cup. We are happy that he has been putting up a good performance in the practice matches. As an all-rounder, he is contributing well with the bat, ball and on the field and doing his best."
Rivaba was confident about Ravindra's good performance in future games as well.
"I hope that his preparation remains the same in the upcoming matches. Not only me but the entire country, who is eagerly waiting for this World Cup, are hoping that India brings the cup back. I am hoping that all the players perform well including my husband."
At the same time, Mrs. Jadeja also gave her best wishes to Team India and said that her husband has all the support from his entire family members.
"We are always there for him. He has our prayers, good wishes. As a family, we also provide him with space which is needed for mental support. It is obvious that prayers do come true and I hope that he does well."
Rivaba then highlighted Jaddu's good performances in England in the past.
"His performance in England has been good so far and I hope that he performs well in future games and Team India also perform well and bring back the World Cup."
