World Cup 2019: USA Ambassador To India Becomes One Of ‘Men In Blue’ As He Wishes Team India For Its First Match Against South Africa; Here’s What He Wrote

So what if United States of America is not a part of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the country’s Ambassador to India, Ken Juster is rooting for Team India. Juster has conveyed his best wishes to Virat Kohli and co to win their third World Cup trophy as India kickstarted its campaign against South Africa on Wednesday.

Few minutes before the first ball was bowled, Juster, sharing a collage of himself donning the Team India jersey while playing and celebrating with youngsters, and of Kohli in a similar moment, tweeted, “From all of us at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, we wish #TeamIndia great success in their upcoming #CWC19 matches! Go win India's Third World Cup!#SportsBuildsBridges #MeninBlue.” 

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also wished the Team ahead of their first encounter. 

Juster had similarly expressed his delight when PM Modi had won the recent general elections with an overwhelming majority and had also attended PM's sweaing-in ceremony.

India took a good start in the match as they picked up two crucial wickets of Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock in the span of 15 deliveries, courtesy Jasprit Bumrah. Later, Yuzvendra Chahal's twin strikes of outstanding deliveries left South Africa completely reeling.
