India maintained their unbeaten run in World Cups over arch-rivals Pakistan with a convincing 89-run (DLS) win at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday. India have now beaten Pakistan in all of their seven meetings in the showpiece event. It was indeed a lop-sided contest as some outstanding batting from the top-order batsmen propelled India to a big total of 336/5 in their 50 overs. In reply, only Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam showed some fight back and by the time it started raining, it was a mere formality to just play out their overs, after a revised target of 302 in 40 overs, for the 1992 champions.

After their convincing win against Pakistan, two of Team India's stars Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen having an interaction on Yuzi's Chahal TV where Pandya revealed his love for diamonds. The all-rounder showed his diamond chain to Chahal which had a small bat and a ball which were made from pure diamonds. Pandya also said that he had got them specially made for the World Cup. At the same time, the 25-year-old was also seen wearing a diamond ring and a watch.

The video of this interaction between Chahal and Pandya where Pandya had disclosed his love for diamonds was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle. Watch the video here.

Pandya was one of the stars of India's famous win. Batting at number 4, he had played an amazing cameo of a 19-ball 26 and picked up two crucial wickets of Pakistan's most experienced batsmen Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik to derail their innings.

Meanwhile, Chahal went wicketless in the last game where he had given away 53 runs in his seven overs at an economy rate of 7.57. Nonetheless, the young wrist-spinner has so far taken six wickets in four matches. He had scalped four wickets during India's campaign opener against South Africa and chipped in with two wickets against the reigning World Champions Australia.

Team India will now face Afghanistan at Southampton on Saturday.
