India made a strong statement about why they are a batting powerhouse against the reigning World Champions Australia during their ICC Cricket World Cup clash at the Kennington Oval on Sunday. While India's Top 3 along with the likes of MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya shone with the bat and the Australian bowlers were made to toil.

However, despite having a tough time on the field one strange incident happened during the first innings. The player, who was involved in this incident, was none other than leg-spinner Adam Zampa. While bowling, Zampa was seen taking something out of his pocket and rubbing on the ball. Therefore, it was not at all surprising as it brought the memories of that infamous ball-tampering scandal in South Africa which involved David Warner, Colin Bancroft and then captain Steve Smith.

Zampa's act did not go down well with the netizens either. Here's how they reacted.
