Reigning World Champions Australia emerged victorious over Pakistan by 41 runs in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash at Taunton on Wednesday. The match was not less than a roller-coaster ride with Pakistan eventually snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. While there were many talking points of this match which included Pakistan's sloppy fielding and the bowlers erring to pitch the bowl in the right areas on a good bowling surface, there was a standout moment in the game where a Pakistani fan was seen giving a disappointed look after his team suffered a usual batting collapse. This was caught on the cameras and has also gone on to become viral.

Here's what the netizens had to say about this dedicated cricket fan.
Sarfaraz Ahmed won a good toss and elected to bowl first. However, the Pakistan bowlers failed to make early inroads as the Aussie skipper Aaron Finch and David Warner added 146 runs for the opening wicket. Warner scored a 111-ball 107 as the defending champions looked to post a huge target. Nonetheless, Mohammad Amir's fifer restricted Australia to 307 as they did not play their entire quota of 50 overs.
In reply, Pakistan were off to a disastrous start as they lost Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam early. However, an 80-run stand between Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez steadied their run chase. Once these two departed, the 1992 winners lost the wickets of veteran Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali in quick succession as Pakistan were staring down the barrel. But, skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed along with lower order batsmen Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz took the Men In Green on the cusp of victory.
Just when it looked like Pakistan will pull off an unlikely win, Mitchell Starc dismissed Wahab and Mohammad Amir. In the end, Sarfaraz was run out by a brilliant athleticism from Glenn Maxwell as the five-time champions registered their third win of the tournament.
