Team India's World Cup campaign had got off to an ideal start after their two consecutive wins. They got the better off South Africa in their campaign opener by six wickets and were too good for the reigning World Champions Australia as the Men In Blue handed them their first defeat of this tournament by 36 runs. The Virat Kohli-led side will now face New Zealand at Trent Bridge on Thursday. The Kiwis had earlier given India a reality check in the warm-up game by reducing them to 91/7 and eventually bowling them out for 179 and chasing the target down with almost 13 overs to spare.

Before the Men In Blue take on the Kiwis, the spin twins Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal participated in a 'wrong-arm shootout' challenge where the stumps were placed inside the nets and the duo had to hit the stumps with their wrong arms. Kuldeep, who is a left-arm Chinaman bowler had to use his right hand, while right-arm wrist spinner Chahal had to use his left hand. This was a unique idea of R Sridhar who is Team India's fielding coach.

The two spinners tried their level best and after putting up so many efforts, Yuzi Chahal emerged triumphant in this challenge with a 2-1 scoreline.

The video of this 'wrong-arm' challenge was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on their official Twitter handle. Watch the video here.

Just like the wrong-arm challenge, Chahal has also been ahead of Kuldeep in terms of wickets. He has picked up six wickets in two games so far. The wrist-spinner was the pick of the Indian bowlers during their opening game against South Africa with figures of 4/51 in his 10 overs at an economy rate of 5.10. He was also impressive against the reigning World Champions Australia where he finished with figures of 2/62 from his 10 overs.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep has only managed one wicket in his two appearances. He finished with figures of 1/46 against the Proteas while the Chinaman bowler went wicketless against the Aussies where he gave away 55 runs from his five overs at an economy rate of 6.11.
