Team India earned their semifinal spot after a 28-run win over Bangladesh in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Tuesday. The Men In Blue thus became the second team after reigning five-time World Champions Australia to book their place in the last four. At the same time, they also knocked the Mashrafe Mortaza-led side out of the competition. The Tigers will now be playing for pride in their next match against Pakistan.
After India moved to the next stage, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was back with his famous show Chahal TV where he was seen interviewing KL Rahul. The duo was discussing about their win against Bangladesh and Rahul talked about his innings which laid a solid foundation for India in putting up a challenging total on the board. However, while the discussion was in progress, someone intervened in between to have some fun. He was none other than Indian skipper Virat Kohli himself.
After Kohli crashed the party, the wrist-spinner said, "Puri koshish kar rahe hai Chahal TV me ghusne ki. Main ne inhe gussa liya phir bhi. "
"Mujhe aana nahi hai, mujhe isne ( KL Rahul) bulaya tha", replied Kohli.
Yuzi then took a friendly jibe at Virat by saying "Yeh scheme hai Chahal TV mein aane ki. Kaisi tadap hoti hai logo ko Chahal TV pe aanne ki."
Things did not end there as Virat Kohli had the last laugh when he broke into laughter and was seen making a funny expression.
The video of this funny moment was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle. Watch the video right here.
Even the fans came forward to have a hearty laugh.
