Virat Kohli-led Team India will begin their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign against Faf du Plessis' South Africa at Southampton on Wednesday. While India are considered as the strong favourites in this contest, South Africa will be heading into this clash after suffering two consecutive defeats against hosts England in the curtain-raiser and then against Bangladesh. To make matters worse, their veteran fast bowler Dale Steyn has been ruled out of the competition owing to a shoulder injury while young speedster Lungi Ngidi will be out of action for at least 7-10 days due a hamstring injury.
Virat Kohli appeared to look very confident for their campaign opener against the Proteas during a media interaction. At the same time, he also said that the Proteas cannot be taken lightly, made his statement against Kagiso Rabada's remarks and also wished his RCB team-mate and longtime team-mate Dale Steyn a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, it seems that after hearing Kohli's press conference, the Cricket World Cup has been very impressed, and that's why they have given a special tribute to Virat Kohli by referring him as 'Harry Potter'. The image was posted on Cricket World Cup's official Twitter handle.
