India will be aiming for their fourth World Cup final appearance when they lock horns against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester. While the fans were excited by some action-packed entertainment on the field, their happiness had water poured on it at the backend of the first innings as the weather gods intervened. As the players left the field, the 2015 World Cup finalists were 211/5 after the end of 46.1 overs.

All possible efforts were taken for the match to be played and for an ideal result, but it was not to be as the weather gods had other ideas. Now, the match will be played on the reserve day i.e. Wednesday. The kick-off time is at 10:30 am local time. New Zealand will start playing from 46.1 overs and will bat the rest of 3.5 overs.

Nonetheless, the fans were not at all impressed after what they had witnessed throughout the day. They came with hilarious memes as they had to wait another day to witness the first World Cup finalist. Even the Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra joined in the fun after play was called off for the day.

Hours earlier as well he had made a joke about the DLS.

Apart from Anand Mahindra, even former Indian vice-captain Virender Sehwag made fun of the Duckworth-Lewis system. The ex-Delhi batsman had made the reference to the corporate policies while mentioning about DLS.

Keeping the jokes apart, a revised target may also end up denting India's chances because they will have to chase more number of runs in reduced overs than what they will be supposed to in case of a full 50-overs contest.

In such a scenario, here's what their revised target will be.

. 46 overs will be 237

. 40 overs will be 223

. 35 overs will be 209

. 30 overs will be 192

. 25 overs will be 172

 . 20 overs will be 148
