Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan had taken to Twitter initially to inform netizens that Indian commentator Sanjay Manjrekar had blocked the former on social media on the eve of the first semi-finals of the ongoing World Cup. This comes after both the commentators exchanged banter on Twitter over Manjrekar's 'analyses' and criticism of India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, with Vaughan pressing for the former Indian batsman to reply, teasing him through the process and eventually getting blocked by Manjrekar.

Here are the tweets that lead to Manjrekar blocking Vaughan on social media:

Vaughan took to share a picture of Yuzvendra Chahal resting along the sidelines of the boundary, a picture that went viral during India versus Sri Lanka contest, with Manjrekar's face morphed in the place of Chahal's. "Come on Sanjay unblock me on Twitter ... It’s only Bantz ... !!!!", the former English skipper wrote.

Both Vaughan and Manjrekar have constantly bickered over social media ever since the latter referred to Ravindra Jadeja as a 'bits-and-pieces' cricketer, following which Jadeja lashed out at the Indian commentator. The Indian commentator, who is known for his extremely vocal views on the Indian team, has been facing the ire of the netizens as his analyses of the game have included a few too many criticisms for Indian fans' liking.

Vaughan had replied to Manjrekar who had put out a list of probable eleven who would play in the semi-finals, during the India-Sri Lanka clash. Vaughan had asked Manjrekar if he had picked the 'bits-and-pieces" cricketer in his team to which Manjrekar had snapped back saying that it was his 'prediction' and not 'his' team. The former English cricketer, however, did not give up and continued to press the Indian commentator for a reply.
