India and New Zealand lock horns in the first semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at the Old Trafford in Manchester. The match which was played on Tuesday had to be scheduled on the reserve day i.e. Wednesday as rain played a spoilsport during the backend of the New Zealand innings.

Nonetheless, when play resumed on Wednesday, there were a lot of dramatic events. These moments included Ravindra Jadeja making his presence felt on the field with a brilliant brilliant run out followed by a good catch. Then in an unfortunate turn of events, India were reduced to 5/3 in their chase of 240 with big guns Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli back in the pavilion. However, arguably the best moment happened when Jimmy Neesham took a brilliant catch to get rid off Dinesh Karthik.

It happened in the 10 over of the second innings which was bowled by Matt Henry. On the final delivery, the pacer bowled a fuller one outside off stump as Karthik attempted to drive the ball. But, he did not get the timing right and the ball was in the air. Jimmy Neesham stationed at point moved to his left and took a spectacularly one-handed catch. Karthik walked back to the pavilion while India were in a spot of bother at 24/4.

The video of Neesham's fantastic catch was posted by ICC.
