India vs New Zealand made headlines two times in the ongoing World Cup. First, when the Kiwis gave ‘favourites’ ‘Men in Blue’ a jolt by running through the famed batting line-up in the warm-up encounter and later when their match in the tournament led to intense fury against the International Cricket Council (ICC) after it got washed away due to rain. However, it’s their third face-off which is the most important, the decider to who makes it to the final of the quadrennial event. The weather forecast for today indicates a possibility of rain.

The netizens have their concerns and are hoping that the rain gods are kind today.

Here’s what netizens have to say:

There is a valid concern over overcast conditions favoring the Kiwi pace attack.

Netizens want the rains to stay away and want to witness an intense contest.

Netizens think it will be a good toss to win as if the Kiwis bat first and it rains. The D/L revisions might go against the Men In Blue.

A light moment amid the rain possibilities.

If rain plays spoilsport again, there is no need to worry as the ICC has provided a reserve day. The match will restart the next day, Wednesday, at the same venue. If it rains on Wednesday as well, India will move to the final because they finished higher in the group stage, 1st, as compared to New Zealand's 4th.
