Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman's probable last outing in the World Cup did not go as he would have expected it after he was cheaply dismissed for a mere 13 off 31 balls. Zaman along with Imam-ul-Haq was expected to go ballistic in order to reach the high total according to Pakistan's plan, but they struggled to fire, as the Bangladesh bowlers kept them to the crease.

Zaman became a victim of severe criticism after his extremely slow paced innings of 13 runs off 31 balls. The opener was mercilessly reprimanded for his dull knock by netizens on Twitter. Read some of the reactions here:

A user took to point out that the opener missed his triple century by a mere 287 runs.

Fans criticized Fakhar Zaman for his slow innings marred by dot balls.

Pakistan, who had targeted posting a mammoth total in order to win by a huge margin against Bangladesh, failed, as their openers did not give the team a decent boost and the 500-run target looks impossible for the team to reach.
