In a cryptic tweet, NC leader Omar Abdullah says that even if fatherland lost today motherland had better not lose tomorrow.
Virat Kohli who had led his side in the tournament so well had an off day in the knockout game. He spoke to media at the end of the Men In Blue's campaign and said that it was disappointing that a short spell of bad Cricket had undone all the good work that had come before.
"First half we were good with ball on the field. We got what we wanted," the skipper said, adding, 'I thought we had restricted New Zealand to a total that was gettable. Then they balled very well in the first half hour.' Coming to India's unlikely but spirited fightback, Kohli was asked whether he thought that MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja could have won the match for India, to which he said, 'For sure. Jaddu had an outstanding couple of games, it was a great show of his skill set. The partnership with Dhoni was outstanding to see.' 'It was a game of margins,' the captain observed, adding that he was disappointed that '45 minutes of bad cricket put us out after so much good cricket' he said speaking about the collapse of the top-order.
