While social media is often considered a ‘youngster’s medium, it’s really the so-called veterans who are ruling the roost on the fast-paced platform. Amitabh Bachchan and Anand Mahindra are two stalwarts who bowl over their fans with regular posts, ultimate observation on various issues and much more. The latter, whose tweets regularly make headlines for various reasons, is bitten by the cricket bug as most in the country with the ongoing World Cup, has now turned quizmaster now. The business tycoon, surprised by how easily his previous one on Yuzvendra Chahal was answered, has come up with a trickier one this time and by the answers, one can say netizens are taking multiple names unlike the unanimously answered question last time.

Moments before India’s last league game encounter against Sri Lanka kicked off, Mahindra tweeted, “The last #MenInBlue riddle seemed too easy. Some cricketing colleagues came up with this: “A key player whose 1st name,his coach’s 1st name & his hometown—all start with the same letter of the alphabet.” Fastest fingers to the right answer gets a Mahindra collectible scale model!”

He wanted proof too, “And you need to justify your choice with his hometown and the name of his coach...”

Many answered Kuldeep Yadav, with hometown Kanpur and first coach Kapil Pandey, while some named Rishabh Pant, with hometown Roorkee and coach names Ravi Shastri or R Sridhar. Some even took Ravindra Jadeja’s name, claiming his city to be Rajkot, with coach Ravi Shastri as well.

But considering Ravi Shastri and R Sridhar are current coaches of the team, Head Coach and fielding coach respectively, and not the first coach, one can now know what the right answer is.

Mahindra's previous riddle was to guess who is ‘Talented in 64 squares; unstoppable in 50 overs’. The answer was Chahal, who has played chess on a professional level since childhood.

The winner had answered inside a minute, same time as the businessman's tweet and Mahindra was impressed.
