  • Sachin had stated in an interview before the tournament that India, England and Australia should be in the semis and that fourth could be New Zealand or Pakistan.
  • The ‘Master Blaster’s prediction of Australia, India and England qualifying and the last spot to be between New Zealand and Pakistan turned out to be exactly the situation of the tournament now.
  • Netizens were left in awe after the ‘Master Blaster’s prediction and termed him as the ‘God of Cricket’, ‘Cricket Radar’ and more for getting it ‘spot on.’

In an interview with a cricket portal a week before the tournament kicked off, Sachin had stated that India, England and Australia should be in the semis and that fourth could be New Zealand or Pakistan.

England were the latest entrants with their win on Wednesday, leaving New Zealand and Pakistan as the contenders for the final spot.

They termed him as the ‘God of Cricket’, ‘Cricket Radar’ and more for getting it ‘spot on.’
