India's dream run at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 ended after their 18-run loss against New Zealand at Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. The Men In Blue's hopes rested on Mahendra Singh Dhoni but his run out in the penultimate over by a direct hit from Martin Guptill signalled the end of India's campaign. When Dhoni walked out to the pavilion, the Indian fans were disappointed while the Kiwi players and fans were in seventh heaven.

International Cricket Council (ICC) has been keeping up with the times and has been posting memes around the events that happen in matches throughout the World Cup. ICC took Dhoni’s runout clip and gave it a ‘Terminator’ twist and tweeted a video which was captioned "Hasta La Vista, Dhoni."

Here’s how the netizens reacted:

The fans were not happy by the supposed lapse in umpiring when they failed to notice that England was not abiding by the fielding restrictions.

Well, there some threats as well.

Some just called the video utterly non-sensical.

Well the intern at ICC has prospects to work for Indian daily soaps.
