Indian pacer Mohammed Shami picked his third consecutive four-wicket haul in the ongoing World Cup, taking his tally to 13 wickets in three matches. Shami picked up crucial wickets in the match against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham on 30 June, getting rid of star batsmen Ben Stokes and Joe Root.

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami picked his third consecutive four-wicket haul in the ongoing World Cup, taking his tally to 13 wickets in three matches. Shami picked up crucial wickets in the match against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham on 30 June, getting rid of star batsmen Ben Stokes and Joe Root. 

Shami conceded 69 runs off his 10 overs, picking up five wickets at an economy rate of 6.90. Shami has been in sublime form since his comeback to the playing eleven and has picked up crucial wickets in the games against Afghanistan, West Indies, and England. His five-wicket haul was the first for an Indian bowler in this tournament.
