Rishabh Pant played a stellar knock to take Delhi Capitals past the finish line against Rajasthan Royals by six wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday. As a result of this splendid knock, Delhi Capitals have now reached the summit of the points table. 

Even the cricketing fraternity was really impressed with the 21-year old's stellar knock.

The 'Voice of Indian Cricket' Harsha Bhogle took to Twitter and said that Rishabh Pant will be proud of his innings. The 57-year old commentator also said that there was a difference between promise and what a proper pro does before going on to add that he was looking forward to seeing many of those knocks. 

Former English skipper Michael Vaughan was surprised by the fact that Rishabh Pant could not find a place in the World Cup squad. This is what he had tweeted.

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar hailed Pant's gritty knock and said that he is hard to fathom but such a joy to watch.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar termed Pant as a 'Special Player' and then went on to say that he played a game changing innings that included great striking and smart rotation of the strike. Here's his tweet.

Pant remained unbeaten as he scored a blistering 36-ball 78 at a strike rate of 216.67. His innings included six boundaries and four maximums. The wicket-keeper batsman was adjudged 'Man of the Match' for his brilliant knock.
