Former Indian skipper and current Lieutenant Colonel Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined the Indian Army troops in the south Kashmir region earlier in July in order to carry out patrolling, guard duties and similar responsibilities just like other brave soldiers of the country. In fact, Mahi had also said a few years back that he wants to join the army once he is done with cricket. It is not sure whether MSD will be seen in Indian colours again or if he wishes to play for some more time but it is his love for the army and his passion to wear the army uniform that made him back out of the Indian squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies.
Even though Dhoni is in Kashmir where he is busy with the army training, he has got a special gift.
The 2011 World Cup-winner has got a 2019 edition Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk delivered to his Ranchi residence. While Dhoni was not available at home to receive his gift, the onus was on his better half Sakshi to do the needful. After receiving it, Sakshi posted the image of the car on Instagram with a caption that read ' Welcome home #redbeast ! Your toy is finally here @mahi7781 really missing you !'
It is known that the star cricketer is a huge fan of both two as well as four-wheelers and owns a wide range of both. When it comes to his car collections, Hummer H2, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Mahindra Scorpio, Audi Q7, Land Rover Freelander 2, etc. are a few cars that the veteran wicket-keeper batsman has in his possession.
