Virat Kohli has ensured that Team India has moved on from the heart-breaking semi-final exit at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as the Men In Blue have had a dream run in the ongoing bilateral series against West Indies where they have won the limited-overs series without suffering a defeat (3-0 in T20Is and 2-0 in ODI's). They focus now moves towards the game's longest format which gets underway on Thursday.
The upcoming two-match Test series will also mark Virat Kohli & Co's ICC World Test Championship schedule. Team India who have been on top of the ICC Test rankings would be looking to become the first team to win the prestigious title for the first time.
Ahead of the first Test, all the players of Team India decided to take a much-deserved break as they were seen basking the sun and enjoying the waves at Jolly Beach in Antigua.
The picture was posted by Virat Kohli on his Instagram account with a caption 'Stunning day at the beach with the boys'. Take a look.
As it is well-know that Kohli is the center of attention on social media, he was not the only one this time. There was someone else as well. Any guesses? It was Jasprit Bumrah. Both Kohli and Bumrah ended up catching the attention of Yuvraj Singh for their fitness.
It so happened that Jasprit Bumrah had posted a picture of himself and his captain Virat Kolhi on social media where the duo can be seen flaunting their six-pack abs. Take a look.
While their picture was liked by the fans, it was also liked by former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh as well. Yuvi came forward and hailed Virat as well as Bumrah who is his Mumbai Indians team-mate in IPL. Taking to social media, the 2011 World Cup-winner wrote ' Oho fitness idol'.
Yuvraj Singh who had announced his retirement from all forms of the game had recently led Toronto Nationals to the playoffs of the Global T20 Canada. Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the limited-overs series while Virat Kohli will be looking to retain the top spot in ICC Test rankings for batsmen as Team India look to strengthen their hold in the Test format.
