Zaheer Khan, the former Indian cricketer and ace fast bowler, while speaking to Republic TV in an exclusive interview on Monday, September 23, revealed that MS Dhoni always gave him one advice- "If nothing is working, just get angry and pick a fight with someone." He stated that he would follow the advice and stay "in the zone".

Different styles of playing

Zaheer Khan acknowledged that everyone has different styles of playing and that they should gravitate towards their instincts and natural strengths. Substantiating his argument further, he referred to Roger Federer and stated that the tennis player is always calm and collected and is yet able to produce great results for several years now; and in stark contrast, there's Nadal who is more expressive with his emotions on court. Khan added that they both have unique styles that's what helps bring out the best in a player.

Khan's aggressive approach

Speaking about his own approach to the game, Zaheer Khan said that he has been aggressive but then learnt to be under control. "There have been times when I had to get really aggressive or pick up a fight which suddenly would get me in the zone and get me going. But otherwise, I always used to be like things under my control. I have paid price to be over-aggressive, but I learnt to keep things under control."
