11-year old Singaporean Dillan Tan sprinted to the front in the final half-lap to win the third round of the e-Racing GP Series at the virtual Imola Circuit on Sunday and move top of the overall tables. Boosted by his victory in Dubai in Round 2, Dillan adopted a 2-pit-stop strategy in the 40-minute race to confound his more senior and experienced competitors when his fresher tyres enabled him to move from 5th to first place in thrilling fashion during the final five minutes of the race.

Tan takes the lead in the 5-round series, with previous Championship leader Naquib Azlan of Malaysia snatching a third-place finish on the last corner of the race. The eRacing GP is a virtual motorsport series developed by former Malaysian F1 driver Alex Yoong.
