Spanish World Cup winner Andres Iniesta and Japanese football legend Kazuyoshi Miura graced the 2020 J.League Kick-off press conference on Friday - as they both talked about facing off in the opening match of the upcoming domestic season. Vissel Kobe will be playing against Yokohama FC at home on the 23rd of February.

Yokohama were promoted to J1 after finishing second in J2 last year.

Iniesta joined Vissel back in 2018 and led the club to their first-ever Emperor's Cup title in January, thereby enabling the Kobe outfit to qualify for this year's AFC Champions League.

Last week, Vissel beat league champions Yokohama F-Marinos on penalties in the curtain raiser fixture for the 2020 season to lift the Xerox Super Cup.

Iniesta, who will turn 36-years-old in May, will be aiming to win both the J.League title and the AFC Champions League this season.

Miura, who will turn 53-years-old on 26th February, will be playing his 35th season as a professional footballer this year.
