Arjun Kapoor criticised by fans after interviewing Chelsea's Willian

Arjun Kapoor is one of the finest Bollywood actors of this generation. Apart from his onscreen charisma, he is also known for his hosting, presentation and dance skills. Arjun has showcased some power-packed performances in movies like Ishaqzaade, where he had made his debut and other movies like Aurangzeb and Gunday. He was also appreciated for his performance in '2 States' co-starring Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is also a football fan and an ardent fan of Chelsea which is one of the best Premier League clubs. Recently, the 34-year-old actor had interviewed star Chelsea winger Willian for which he faced flak from the fans.

Fans criticise Arjun Kapoor after interviewing Willian

Arjun Kapoor, who is the Indian ambassador for Chelsea FC had got the opportunity of interviewing Willian. He started the interview well by saying that he was lucky enough to be sitting alongside someone (Willian) whom he gets to watch on television all the time. However, the Aurangzeb actor telling the Brazilian attacking midfielder that he has been associated with the English club for a few years did not go down well with the fans and they came forward to express their disappointment on social media. In fact, Willian has been associated with Chelsea since 2013 and has represented the Blues in over 300 games across tournaments.

Arjun Kapoor's upcoming movies

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's historical war film Panipat which is scheduled to release on 6 December 2019. His other film in this year titled 'Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar' directed by Dibakar Banerjee is yet to reveal its release date. The movie starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra is an upcoming black comedy film. The year 2020 will see Arjun Kapoor starring in Budha which is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Comali which had starred Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde. The movie will be directed by Pradeep Ranganathan who had directed the original version while it will be produced by Arjun's father Boney Kapoor.
