Arsenal football star and former Germany international Mesut Ozil has caused quite a stir amongst his Indian fans following his latest revelation. The former Real Madrid play maker, who has been one of the star players as his club enjoy a great run of form, revealed on Twitter on Thursday that he would love to visit India in sometime.

During his conversation with his fans on the social media website, the 30-year-old, when questioned if he has any plans for visiting India, replied by saying that it may happen in the near future, before adding that meeting Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is also one of his objectives.

His message on Twitter read, "I'd love to travel to India in the near future ... and visit my friend @RanveerOfficial."

Soon after, Ranveer responded in kind, calling Ozil his 'Bhai'. "India awaits you with open arms and a whole lotta warmth, Mesut Bhai! promise you some sweet memories ! Soon... Insha Allah!," his reply read.

Ranveer is known to be an ardent Arsenal fan, and he even visited their 2017 FA Cup final fixture against Chelsea. Further, he also atteneded the Arsenal vs Liverpool fixrure in December 2017.

Earlier this year, the two star individuals clicked a photo together. Ranveer seemed ecstatic, and called Ozil a 'true champion'. "An absolute pleasure meeting @m10_official ใ€ฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ”Ÿ

Ozil, having endured a slow start to the season, showed his worth during Arsenal's 4-1 win over Leicester City on Monday. He scored one, created another and was at the heart of every attacking move.
