Atletico Madrid continue with training schedule

Atletico Madrid continued to train on Friday ahead of the return of La Liga in June.

The Spanish league go the go-ahead to resume in June after three months of waiting for the coronavirus pandemic to subside.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that La Liga and other professional sports competitions will be allowed to resume from 8th June, providing Spain keeps its coronavirus outbreak under control.

While the top tier can play from this date, which is a Monday, La Liga has already said it wants to restart on the following Friday 11th June - with the Seville derby between Sevilla and Real Betis a potential curtain-raiser.
