Cyle Larin scored a brace in the Edmonton snow as Canada stunned Mexico 2-1 to go top of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying group.
In freezing conditions, Larin scored in first-half stoppage time after he slotted home past Guillermo Ochoa who failed to deal with a long-range shot.
Shambolic defending allowed Larin to scored his second early in the second half after Mexico failed to deal with a corner.
And despite a frantic finish which saw Hector Herrera pull a goal back on 90 minutes and Mexico see an effort clawed off the the line, Canada hung on for a famous victory.
The unbeaten Canucks leap Mexico and USA to top the group on 16 points. Mexico are joint third with 14 points.
