Chelsea fans celebrated as they came out of Estadio do Dragao Stadium in Portugal on Saturday night following the side's 1-0 win against Manchester City in the Champions League final.

Chelsea won Europe's biggest club competition for the second time by beating City thanks to Kai Havertz's first-half goal as manager Pep Guardiola's overthinking proved costly again for the Manchester club in the all-English final.

City’s players slumped to the ground at the final whistle as Chelsea players sprinted the length of the field to celebrate with the nearly 6,000 Chelsea fans who made up the 14,110 attendance at Estadio do Dragao.

The final was moved from Istanbul because of current travel limits in Turkey amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Chelsea fans were overjoyed with the result with many saying it was the best they had seen their team play.

City fans were a little more downbeat at the defeat although some were pleased to have made it to the final as the club's long, often-painful and lavishly funded journey to the summit of European soccer continues.
