Just over a year after he gave birth to his daughter with his long-time girlfriend, Portuguese and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly gotten engaged with Georgina Rodriguez, and may well be planning for marriage soon.
According to Correio da Manha, a Portuguese newspaper, the pair has been engaged, and are planning for a marriage. A source was quoted by the newspaper as saying, "Cristiano has already asked Gio to marry him and the wedding will take place, but few people know the details. All that is known at the moment is that Gio has already tried on some wedding dresses."
The pair met each other in 2016, and have been in a relationship since the past couple of years. They have a daughter together, Alana Martina, who recently celebrated her first birthday. Apart from her, the footballing superstar has three other kids. His eldest son is Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who was born in 2010. After that, Ronaldo gave birth to twins in June 2017 through a surrogate mother, naming them Eva and Matteo.
On the football front, Ronaldo is enjoying yet another promising season, despite having made a slow start at his new club Juventus. The 33-year-old joined the Turin club earlier this year for a record fee of 100 million pounds during the summer transfer window, henceforth ending his nine-year-long association with Real Madrid.
In the 12 matches he has played for his club in the Seria A, Ronaldo has already scored 8 goals and has also provided five assists. His recent exploits came during the club's 2-0 win over AC Milan, where Ronaldo scored the second goal and was a threat throughout the match.
As for the UEFA Champions League, he opened his season's tally during Juventus' 1-2 defeat to Manchester United at Allianz Arena.
